Vintage Brass Sundial with Compass and Sundial - Italy 1930

Beautiful brass sundial with sundial and compass made in Italy around the 1930s.

This watch was typically used for navigation and allowed one to establish, thanks to the compass and the sundial, the time in any condition. In addition to the Roman numerals for the time, it includes on the same side the Latin inscription "Omnia Vincit Amor" while on the back there is an undefined inscription.

The sundial can be raised and closed simply by rotating it, so as to avoid it from breaking.

Made entirely of brass, it shows some signs of age but overall it is fully functional and in excellent condition.
