Rare One Thousand 1000 Lire Banknote "Maria Montessori" 3 October '90 - Italy 1990

Rare 1000 Lire banknote from 1990 depicting on one side the header of the Bank of Italy and the image of Maria Montessori and the watermark.

On the back of the 1000 Lire banknote you can see the writing "Ministerial Decree 3 October 1990" present only on this type of banknote and "The Law punishes the manufacturers and dealers of counterfeit notes".

Some very small signs of aging are visible but overall the 1000 Lire banknote is in mint or excellent condition.
