Vintage Plate Wine Transport F.lli Oddero La Morra Alba - Italy 1950

This 1950s sheet metal plate represents an authentic piece of Piedmontese winemaking history. Produced by the Lagraph company of Oneglia, this plate was used to identify the wine barrels of the "F.lli Oddero" farm during transport from the hills of La Morra to the Alba railway station, this plate is not only a decorative object but a true witness to the region's winemaking past.

The plate reads "Vini Pregiati del Piemonte" and "Azienda Agricola F.lli Oddero", with the characteristic Oddero logo in the center. It was originally used to label wine barrels during transport by train or van, ensuring that the Oddero family's products reached the distribution markets via the Alba railway station. The plate was fixed directly onto the barrels, making it easier to identify the producer and guaranteeing the authenticity of the product during the journey.
