The rare vintage telephone token IPM 7805, produced in Italy in May 1978, represents a significant piece of Italian telecommunications history. Used in public telephone booths until the 1990s, this small object has become an iconic symbol of an era in which communicating over distances required the use of telephone booths and a handful of tokens.

Produced by Industria Politecnica Meridionale (IPM), this token was minted in copper and nickel, materials that give it a long-lasting shine and excellent resistance over time. The code "7805", printed on the front together with the engraving "GETTONE TELEFONICO", indicates the production date, May 1978. On the back, the drawing of an old rotary telephone adds a further nostalgic touch, recalling the image of the rotary telephones used at the time.

This example is in excellent condition, with clear and well-preserved reliefs, making this token a valuable collector's item. In addition to its historical value, it also represents a piece of retro design, much appreciated by lovers of vintage and collectors of items related to the history of communications.

The token comes with an elegant red fabric gift bag, perfect for keeping it in the best possible condition or to make it a refined and original gift idea. Whoever owns this object finds in their hands not only a fragment of the past, but also a symbol of how technology and the way of communicating have changed over time.
