This "Gold to the Fatherland" ring is a historic relic dating back to 1935, the period in which Italy launched a campaign to donate gold to support the war effort and the regime's autarkic policy. It is a band made of base metal, distributed as a symbol of recognition to those who donated their gold wedding rings to the state.

The ring has a simple and essential shape, in keeping with its symbolic meaning, and is characterized by the internal engraving "Oro alla Patria," typical of these items. The metal shows signs of wear consistent with its age and use, but retains its authenticity and historical value.
